Man, super jealous! I don't think I've seen the Ayinger Lager Hell, the Monschoff Original or the second one from the left (can't read what it says) here in Iowa.

Looks like your evening is set :)

Wow!!!! Hofbräuhaus Oktoberfest is my favorite beer. If you ever have a chance to visit the Hofbräuhaus in München, jump it. It's an experience you'll never forget. I go every time I visit my German family.

You have quite the score there.

Being Belgian and all I will probably just gobble up all these beers and sigh that these German lagers all taste the same.  ::)

If the Salvator and the Hell taste the same, something is wrong ;)

I would love to try the Konig Ludwig dunkel.  Their weissbier is probably my favorite weissbier.

The greatest gift is the gift of giving :)

Salvator would be my own favourite from this lot, with the König Ludwig coming in close second.

German beers...it takes a certain mindset to appreciate them, I think. Impressive in their understatedness, most of the time.

Truth is, I never really understood how anyone could rave about a helles or a dunkel until I had some proper Munich brew myself. But yeah: sometimes, less really is more.
All truth is fiction.
