Imperial IPA Hops
« on: March 06, 2016, 04:41:22 pm »
Well, this is my first IIPA since I've upgraded to brewing 11 gallon batches. An 11 gallon batch of an IIPA really puts a dent into the cyber Monday 8 oz hop deals from Yakima Valley lol.

FWH - 1 oz each centennial and simcoe
60 min - 1 oz Columbus
10 min - 1.25 oz each centennial, simcoe, Citra, and Galaxy
0 min - 2 oz each centennial, simcoe, Citra, and Galaxy
Dry hop - 1.5 oz each centennial, simcoe, Citra, and Galaxy to go in each keg

FYI... That's my imperial hoppy Amber pictured. It was just tapped Friday so it's not real clear yet. I'll put a pic on the beer pic thread in a week or two.

Yeah, the bad thing about the whole situation is that I used all 8 oz of simcoe and centennial and have an ounce and a half of Galaxy and Citra left.

It's only a 'bad' thing until you start drinking it.
