Carbonating Maple Sap
« on: March 10, 2016, 01:25:52 pm »
There's a commercially available carbonated sap: simply maple syrup with co2. I would like to do this myself. Would carbonating sap in a keg cause problems because of the sugar content with keg parts and hoses or would it clean up fine? Also thinking maybe I should pasteurize it.

It can't have more sugar than the soda syrup that these kegs were originally developed to hold.
