Finally broke down and ordered my new weapon....the bottle filler.

You're gonna freaking love it. I posted yesterday that I had an open spot on one of my manifolds and dedicated it to the CO2 line to the gun. Great idea. Makes the process much smoother. By the way, my LHBS has a great video tutorial on using it - really helped me  :

yeah Northern brewer had video also I watched. going to use it for wine, mead, and beer. i bought a distributor just for this so i don't have to screw around.

Nice, Ken. It's tempting to get one of those for sure. I'd probably opt for that one over the Blingmann.

I'm new to kegging and want one. Can someone clue me in as to what I need. Right now all I have is a regulator with a single "out" port or whatever its called.

Blichmann sells an accessory kit (~$20-25) for the beer gun that has all the hardware you need, except for a wye splitter or manifold. You'll need a splitter or manifold to use for the CO2 connection to the gun. I already had a spare port in one of my manifolds that I dedicated to the beer gun.

The splitter is cheaper ($12ish). But if you plan to expand your number of taps and need a manifold for it, you can kill 2 birds with one stone and get one with an extra port. Both work fine.
