Nothing like putting a tap in the living room
« on: March 19, 2016, 07:48:23 am »
I have been home brewing for a a couple years now and have always bottle conditioned my brews. Recently my girlfriend purchased a couple beer towers for me. This prompted my Keezer build. Putting these taps in my living has been the greatest investment I have made since purchasing my home. Currently on tap are an Abby Ale, Oktoberfest and an Imperial Blonde all done in amber and all running between 10%-12%. Thy are big beers and exactly what is needed after a day on the job.

I have a fourth tap open. Any Suggestions?

Don't put it too close to the couch. ;)

Something sessionable seems an obvious choice.

Back when I built my kegerator, I was living in a cramped 1 bedroom apt. The tap was literally 3 steps away from my couch.

After examining my waistline, I moved the Kegerator to the basement when I moved into my current house  ;)

Go with something light and refreshing for the 4th tap. Cream ale!

For some reason I cannot upload a Pic. It is right next to my couch! A Cream sounds perfect. I have been wanting to do a chocolate almond cream stout but I will save that for the fall. I will run this setup in an ale and see where it goes.  Thanks for the direction!

At its closest mine was 80" away as the crow flies. But I had to go around the coffee table so it took a couple more steps. 8)

Moved it into the kitchen after a couple months.

Mine is down a long hall way and down a flight of stairs from the kitchen. It's two flights of stairs down from the tv room.

Keeps my drinking in check.

My kegerator is 3' away as I type this.  And my keezer is about 15' away in a spare bedroom....  :D
