That's a lot of crystal.  Love to say "I told you so", but hey, it happens.  I just did it on my last batch, so to say we should have known better... well I dunno, maybe we should have.  Oops.   :D

Yeah you've got a lot going on in there. That's a lot of caramel/crystal and cara pils and probably where the comments come from. When I brew with a lot of caramel malts I like to sub in some table sugar to compensate for the flavor and dry the beer out.

It's a lot of crystal, but it's not too much as long as the other ingredients complement it.
