Twice a year my LHBS (Bader in Vancouver, WA) sponsors Mashfest, a home brew beer festival that donates the proceeds to local charities.
It's "by invitation only" which means that they can't sell tickets at the door; they have to be purchased ahead of time. There are 15 home brewers who donate and serve 3 gallons of their best. The 100 tickets usually sell out fairly quickly. The last one was at Loowit brewing in downtown Vancouver.
The next one is in September and looks like it will be in a larger locale and there will be 150 tickets so the brewers will be donating 5 gallons.
It's a great time, I went to the last one and served at three of them.
