They don't sound the same to me at all.

Denny, was it this one?: http://hopwhisperer.blogspot.com/2015/12/x-17-hops-tasting-notes.html

Yep.

Denny, just to double check, these are the same as X17 ?  I ask because Mike posted that quote from Ted where Ted says that they were originally called G1. Just curious.

Maybe not.  Might have misunderstood what Bob was saying.

I'm just not sure.  They do sound a lot alike to me.  I'll have to contact Ted and see if he'll tell me what farm they're from.

Think tropical, citrus, and pine...not orange and lemon zest, at least not in the single hop pale ale I had.

They sound great regardless. I was just curious.

Do you think it would mingle well with Mosaic, or best to add it with a more normal C hop?

I think that would work, personally I would probably bitter with the Mosaic and then use the Cleopatra for flavor and aroma.

Juicy beef broth and tendon.  Wait, that's the Pho I just had...

Pretty funny stuff. Pho is certainly 'juicy'.   ;)

I may try just that in a pale ale.  Looking at potentially using the SNPA recipe but changing out the hops:
