NHC 2016 and BNA11???
« on: April 22, 2016, 09:32:39 am »
Hey.  I went to NHC 2014 in Grand Rapids and stumbled upon (and out of) The Brewing Network's 9th Anniversary Party (BNA9).  It was a real blast!

I'm wondering if anyone knows if they will be doing a similar party this year in Baltimore.  I have not seen anything on the HomebrewCon website and have not had any luck with general web searches.

I'd appreciate any info you might have.  Thanks.

Email the BN. I'd be surprised if they didn't as the event appears to be insanely popular.

A couple weeks ago Justin said on the Session they would be doing something, but he didn't have a place yet or any details.  He did say that it would be smaller than previous years though.  People who donate to the BN will get first crack at tickets through a special email, then it will be opened up to everyone else.

Yeah, what I remember from the podcast is that since their regular winter fest moved to spring this year, they're a little behind on the BNA planning.

As Darkside says, donors get first dibs. Justin mentioned that it would be smaller this year but also mentioned they don't have it booked yet. So I'd say it's anyone's guess at this point.

Had a great time at BNA10, won't make 11 since I get into town that evening.

I'm not in until Friday so I'll miss it by a lot ;)

I didn't go to NHC last year but had fun at BNA9 in Grand Rapids in the baseball park.  This one should be a great time and it seems they are limiting the number of tickets.  They probably don't want a repeat of the Philly one.

BNA11 is now available on the Conference Week Events (ConWeek Events?) link and lists transportation and 6:00 start time. Any info about the buses running continuously or just out and back once?

I think in the past they've always had them running back and forth.  It looks like it's only about 3 miles to the venue, so it would definitely be doable to run do it that way.  Probably a cheap Uber ride to if not.
