Memorial Day
« on: May 30, 2016, 07:39:49 am »
May God bless you and your family on this Memorial. God bless America.
To anyone interested, the protocol for displaying an American flag on Memorial Day is to fly the flag at half-staff only from sun-up to noon- at which point it should be raised quickly to full-mast.

Wow, some power you have to bless me, my family, and the country on God's behalf. Praise thee!

(By the way, this thread is prrrrrooooooobbabbbly against forum rules, what with the word God being tossed around and all.)

And another thing, I'm not against, you know, like, the troops or anything, just that, you know, the whole connecting God with Memorial days seems a fair stretch. Nothing against your beliefs, fair chap, just a happy Memorial Day greeting would've been sufficient.

Cheers.

I was going to leave this alone but I do wonder if the signature at the bottom makes all of the OP's posts against forum rules.
Happy Memorial Day, especially all those who have suffered loss through they're or a loved ones service.
Don't let the bastards cheer you up.

I have no problem with someone expressing Memorial Day sentiments, even if it involves their religion.  A simple statement is OK by me.  But if it devolves, the thread will be deleted.
