beer glass lanyards
« on: June 02, 2016, 08:37:55 am »
I searched about this but couldn't find anything recent. Where do people get those handy beer glass lanyards? I'd love to have one for the NHC, and I only found one or two websites that *may* have the right thing.

Last time I attended, they were part of your "welcome" package.

When was the last time you attended? The last one I went to was Philly, and I don't think they were included (I didn't get one and I didn't see many people walking around with them).

I was actually referring to Philly.  I got one there from BSG.  Maybe it was at the expo booths then?

Yep, I distinctly remember I got one from BSG in Philly, too.

In Grand Rapids, I think the badge holder issued was a cup holder too... if not, then they were in the grab bag you get when you check in...

I have one from Rahr, one from Weyermann. Those are BSG malts (Rahr owns BSG).

Do you mean BSG owns Rahr?

In Grand Rapids they were given out at the expo by one (or maybe 2) of the vendors.

No, BSG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rahr.

BSG distributes Rahr and Weyermann malts, along with other malt brands.

I like using one of those cheap foam beer coozies and I run both ends of the lanyard through opposite sides of the coozy so that the coozy sits on top of my conference badge. Its usually big enough for the conference glass.
