Very cool.  Auber makes great stuff.  I use their TD100 temp controller for my fermentation freezer.

What's really cool is it requires no setup. Out of the box you just set the dial to a mash temp and the advanced PID technology is adaptive.

I use Auber's similar unit to control my boil kettle element. It works very well.

Worth the money!

There is something to be said for rotary encoders. Look at the original I pods. Simple and quick navigation with a single thumb. I will seriously consider this when I resume my quest to going electric.
