My Ugly Keezer
« on: June 14, 2016, 06:27:27 am »
I decided for several reasons to keep my keezer in the cellar which means I didn't have to do the woodworking to make it pretty. I finally built it this past weekend. Its not pretty but it has perlick faucets and antimicrobial lines so I consider it a Chevy Vega with a Mercedes motor. Also, because its in the cellar I was able to keep the gas on the outside which is better for both room and adjusting the gas
I have since straitened the crooked faucets. They were pictured with plastic tap handles which they didn't come with so I'll make some.

Looks good to me. It'll look sharp with some custom made tap handles.

Any functional keezer is beautiful keezer.   ;)

Good job!

Definitely not ugly.  Any functioning brewing equipment, in my eyes, is a thing of beauty...

Maybe slap some labels on the 2x4s -- from favorite brews or breweries -- but it looks fine to me as is.

That's not to shabby at all. mine is made from a nearly free fridge and is in garage. It is not much of a looker itself but does a fantastic job keeping kegs cool...
