And I quote, "Outraged, Sianis allegedly declared "Them Cubs, they ain't gonna win no more," which has been interpreted to mean that either the Cubs would never win another National League Pennant or else that they would never again win a World Series."    ;D   Just poking

If the damn goat would've just practiced a little better hygiene in the first place, they might've let him in.  :)
Considering they haven't been to a World Series since this thing happened, I'd interpret that it meant they won't win a pennant, not the series. Once in the series, all curses are off. And now, I think we can move on from this curse bullsh*t.

I'll be having beers at my house around 6pm, then heading 2 blocks to my local pub for food, beers, and the game with friends. Should be a good night!

Oh yeah. I never bought into the stupid BS anyway. For the Cubs, their REAL curse was having sh!tty GMs and managers over and over and over.....in other words, no real commitment to winning because they were selling out the games anyway. Now they have the commitment in spades. Curses obliterated.

Ownership by the Tribune didn't help...

Choppers flying around right now.  Gonna be nice weather tonight.  If it's not too windy, fire pit and the game on in the back yard.

Yep, beer will be flowing tonight. Gonna aim for some restraint. Don't want any more age 22 hangovers for damn sure.

Yes.  I live just north of Wrigley.  Straight up Clark Street about 3 or 4 miles.

My office is right at Montrose and Broadway, where Sheffield runs in to B-way.  Traffic gets crazy by 5 for typical night games so it will probably take me awhile to get out of here tonight.

Im in Barrington and the older I get the more I like the quiet burbs. Although being anywhere near that park now has to be electric!

I stepped out about 20 minutes ago.  Kinda quite but for the choppers.  But I'm still +/- a mile north of the field.  I didn't check if the bar across the street opened early.  We're in Uptown, so the bars don't typically open before the work crowd gets home.  Too many piss-bums and panhandlers.

Its quiet because the series is tied and people are afraid they won't win.  Trust a KC fan on this.

Yeah, it's an awesome/freaking nerve racking pitcher's duel. Expected some runs by now. Nervous posting.

Brutally nerve racking. Cubs are Jeckyll and Hyde with their offense this postseason. I was hoping for Mr Hyde today. Not happening.
