I started harvesting my Centennial last night. There were some cones that were completely dried, but most of them look pretty good.

Looks like this will be the second year in a row with no harvest for me. Japanese beetles annihilated my bines, and though they put out new growth afterwards they never flowered.

Picked Centennial today, the usual low yeild.

Sterling was next, but some storms rolled in.

My harvest in VT is well underway- everything seemed to be ready at the same time this summer. I've been picking like crazy to keep up & the oast is full.  Good stuff.

Really good growing conditions up til the last few weeks here in NEOhio.  Picked and dried this seedling selection from last year in the past few days for a total of about 13+ ounces.  Nothing earth shattering  but I would say like the old heads used to that it has a very pleasant 'general hoppiness' to it.  Proof will be in the beer it's used in this fall once all the others are harvested.  http://imgur.com/a/c0B9p

I started giving hops another try this year. We had a really rough season (gypsy moths out of control, and a long drought during the heart of the growing season), but I just picked an ounce of the best-smelling Sterling I've ever had. There is a whole lot of lemon in the aroma. It's a shame that I got such a low yield that it will be tough to make use of them in a beer.

My hops were very unhappy this year.  We had constant rain for april and early may, and I think my planter has low drainage.  The leaves have grown back but I'm not expecting much.
