What style should I use for brown ale with liquer
« on: August 13, 2016, 05:21:04 pm »
I have an American Brown Ale with Kahlua added and I'm not sure what 2015 BJCP category I should enter it under.  Any input?

What does it taste like?

If the Kahlua isn't prominent and melds with the grain flavors then I'd be inclined to just enter it into the brown ale category.

If the coffee is prominent, then I'd go for 30A spiced beer.  (Kahlua is basically coffee, brown sugar, vanilla, and alcohol.)
