Going to be in London this weekend, friday-sunday, anyone want to meet for a pint? Any suggestions for great pubs/restaurants? Best bottled beer to bring back to the wife?

http://www.fancyapint.com/ is a great source for finding pubs by area or Tube station. A lot will depend on where you're staying -- London's a big place.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

You did not state your hotel location, but this is one of our favorites.

The Market Porter, next to Bouroughs Market.  Wander through the market and get some samples.  There is a place that grills chorizo sandwiches that are outstanding.  This food extravaganza will make you thirsty, and the Market Porter has many handpumps of real ale that will fix that.

Then wander down to the Royal Oak for some Harveys beer.

Excellent day to be had just doing those.
