Denny,

Caramelizing fresh figs.  Can you run that process by me one more time.  Can't seem to find my notes from last year.  These are added to secondary correct?

Super heat a wok over your brewing burner...red hot is good.  Cut the figs in large pieces and toss them in.  Let them caramelize a bit, then deglaze with some of the beer from primary.  Put all of that in a secondary and rack the beer on top.
Life begins at 60.....1.060, that is!

Unfortunately, you can't use the method in southern CA becasue nobody woks in LA!
