THE ALCOHOL CHANNEL
« on: July 07, 2010, 10:14:19 am »
How is it we have "the golf channel" , "shopping network", "court tv" but there's no alcohol programming? Like there's a lack of interest? In the whole spectrum of alcohol - from the various types, to the various uses, the making, drinking, serving. I definitely think there's enough material there to warrant it's own channel.

I agree. Been seeing many shows like Three Sheets and the Thirsty Traveler. Actually was influenced to try different drinks.

There's enough material for it, but it's just not necessary is the point.  It's a drug, golf isn't.

It could be a fermentation channel that not only includes beer, but breads, baking shows, ethanol production, etc.
Change it back.

Oh yeah, imagine some drunken soccer. Shrink the field down to one tenth the size and use one of those giant physical therapy balls. Maybe double the amount of players on each team too. Just have to polish off a six pack before you climb onto the field. Which should be made out of mattresses.
Beer, its whats for dinner.

And at least one land mine on the field. Just to make it interesting....

Oh you mean football. I think there's a thread about that somewhere on this board.

Might make the World Cup more interesting and give all the floppers a reason to wallow on the ground, like they took a 30.06 shot to the leg.

There's also Drink Up on the Cooking Channel, Taste the Beverage Show on WealthTV & Beer Nutz on Mojo.

Three Sheets is by far my favorite of the pack.
