Caramelized figs
« on: October 27, 2016, 09:13:51 am »
Denny,

Does dumping the caramelized figs directly into secondary create a mess racking out at bottling time.  Do they float or sink.  I have put them in shear hose and hung them in secondary.  Perhaps I'm not getting full utilization that way.

I put them in loose.  Some sink, some float but I've never had racking issues.
