So I can skip the whole brewing process and just add hop and specialty malt tea to beer? Part of AB's evil plot to discredit homebrewing?

Wow. I mean, wow. Yeah, that pretty much does skip the whole brewing process. It's not brewing, it's flavoring existing beer. "For the homebrewer who just can't handle extract brewing, try our product."

Each his own. I guess.

Big surprise. Pretty sure NB will be selling it then.  ;)

Pretty soon, you'll be able to just walk into a store and buy beer that's already brewed and ready to drink.

just added a couple drops of Olive Nation Peach/Mango extracts to my pint of Sculpin

Boom, I made fruit beer.  One of my faster brewdays, for sure...I think I'm getting the hang of this.

There's a craft beer restaurant in my area called WHYM...maybe I can get them to file a Cease and Desist.

More like their continued attack on craft brewing.  Why spend $$ on craft beer when you can buy a Bud, add some glorp from NB and get Pliny the Elder.  You can't, of course, but AB is betting that hipster wanna-bees wouldn't know that.  AB can sell crap beer, sell glorp thru NB and screw craft brewing all in one stroke.

I watched the video and felt like I watching something from the Onion or a bad "funny or die".  I hope it's a joke because that's just dumb.

Reading through the recipes, if you can follow all the steps you can just as easily make an extract brew - and it would be a lot better.

I also don't understand why they don't pre-mill the grains and have you use a rolling pin instead. Every try to crush something like Carapils with a rolling pin? Might as well try to make your own gravel while you're at it.

And there is definitely something dubious about this mysterious "Beer Base" that will be delivered from their partner in about an hour. I feel bad for the suckers that get duped by this.

Should we approach this with an open mind? I mean first we had shaken no stirred, then LODO, maybe this is the next disruptive home brewing technique! ;)
