So I brewed this on Sunday, and things seemed to go well. I'm still dialing in my efficiency numbers so I only hit 1.052 (target was 1.056), but ended up with exactly 5.25 gallons into the fermenter.
The packet of Brewtan B that I ordered from Australia arrived the day prior to brew day, so I used it as directed in the Brewtan B threads. I ended up with the cloudiest wort I can ever remember having, but I don't know if I can attribute that to the Brewtan B. I forgot my Irish moss addition, which may have contributed, and I also did a 15 minute hopstand with an oz of hop hash. I think a lot of the cloudiness may be the result of the hash. In any case, I may end up calling this a NE IPA instead of a pale ale. Chugging away at 68 degrees. I will report back when it it ready to taste.
