SCORE!
« on: November 13, 2009, 12:42:15 pm »
I was at the scrapyard today. I'm there about every day, so not a rare thing. I decided to ask the dude if the ever come by any kegs. He says "you mean like that one over there? "
Long story short, I'm the prund owner of a FREE Coors keg, just begging to have it's lid cut off and turned into a HLT!
So the moral of the story is, don't be afraid to ask for free handouts. I scored the 50' of 3/8 copper for 20$ the same way, just yesterday.

So what's the master plan for the brewery? You've got mashing and cooling figured out. Cheap too.
Congrats.

Nice!  What is the 5th of JD for?  If the Browns let ya down?  Just jokes!  I love the hood.  I really need to put some effort into building a stand up now that I got a buddy with a welder.

That looks like a handle. Which would be the appropriate size for a Browns fan...  ;)

If you have nothing intelligent to post, don't post anything.  ;D

Hey, Weaz I have spent 20 years where you are now. Remember the Packers of the 70's, 80's and early 90's. Nobody should, just like this year's Browns.

Weazle - you could be a Bills fan

Seriously I would like to know the specs on your exhaust set up. I have needed to do something like that for some time now.

IIRC, I just yanked the inducer motor out of a 90+% furnace we replaced. The hood is 24x24, and tapers to 8x8. The exhaust is nothing more than 4" flexible chimney liner. Took me minutes o build, and it was all free.
