So I make my starters in a 1/2 gallon growler. After sanitizing the growler I was using the sanitizer inside to pour over the peice of tinfoil I cover it with. I would pour a little on, let it sit a few, then pour a little more on... you get the idea. Anyways, once my wort was cooled I ripped open my yeast smack pack and poured it into the growler. Only then did I realize I just poured the yeast over one or two ounces of Star San solution still in the bottom of the growler. I then quickly poured in the wort to dilute the sloution as quickly as I could (about 1 liter). So... what can I expect? Would Star San kill all my yeasites that quick? If they live will I get a bad taste?
