Great new little pH meter I found
« on: January 03, 2020, 01:37:44 pm »
I just bought this a couple weeks ago and my old one bit the dust (and I was never happy with it)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ESYG6B0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Super easy calibration and seems to stay calibrated for way longer than even the super expensive ones I have. Not sure how long the probe lasts but storage solution cap stays in place. Hell I just went for the 1 pt calibration and now I see the have a 3 pt calibration which is only a little more expensive. Anyway if you are in the market for a good pH meter for cheap this one is the best one I have seen that isn't a bench meter.

One of the locals has one of these.  He really likes it.

Cool! Yeah I'm pretty pleased as well. Especially for 50 bucks.

I got this one from the same maker.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01ENFOIQE/ref=sspa_mw_detail_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You can buy replacement probe if you need to. It comes with 4.0 and 7.0 test solution and storage solution. It is .00 accurate.

It is pretty quick. I have it 1/2 a year and so far so good.

You will like yours.

That one looks really good.  Thanks.  It doesn't cost much more than a replacement electrode for my current Hanna meter.  Encouraged by your testimonial,  I think I'll consider this when my electrode reaches the end of its life.  I've heard good things about the Apera instruments.  The one thing I like about Hanna is the renewable fabric junction.  But while it is renewable, I suspect  it may not be ideal at its best.
