thanks guys!
When the time comes that the freezer has problems or dies, how hard will it be to repair or replace?
the front façade is only kept in place by 4 hidden screws. if and when that happens, zip-zip, the whole front covering the freezer comes off, pull the freezer out and insert a new one. there's 4 inches to the left and about 8 to the right, so shifting it inside is also very manageable.
of course, I'll most likely have to build a new collar, but I might be lucky and they still make the exact same model, but Murphy's law suggests not.
