Sounds like a ton of work for the same results as 64/72/77 Hockhurz

I think difficulty would depend on the system used. My old electric system would have worked perfectly for such a mash, I likely wouldn't even have to monitor the mash at all.
Corn is a fine adjunct in beer.

And don't buy stale beer.

Ah. I thought he was talking mash temp. Continuous to me would be evenly over the whole time. I thought I saw somebody mentioned this for mashing as well once.

I've definitely heard it mentioned in terms of the mash, I just read about it in the Farmhouse Ales book.  From what I remember you start at 50c, and raise 0.25c every minute for about 3 hours.  I'll take a look when I get home, and post something more accurate.

^^^ This, or something along those lines. I too forget the exact details, but I also read it in the farmhouse ales book.

OK, they start the mash at 45c, raising the mash by 0.25c every minute whilst constantly stirring, until they reach 72c (108 minutes in total).

Well it was a rough brew day.  Step mash went well, but the recirculation went rough.  I don't know if something got stuck or if the Bayite pump took a union break on me, but I lost a lot of time today trying to get this chugging like it started.  Time will tell if this pump was a complete waste of money or not.

Enhanced double decoction, don't know if it is appropriate to style but this is my 2nd time doing one, went well, smelled amazing.

With 1.092 and 75% efficiency I can't complain.  It was a lid on 12% evaporation which I am trying to improve my setup get consistently below 8%.  Bitterness is what I am worried about.  Time will tell... pitched at 65f

1.015, raising temp to encourage a couple more points off FG if I can.  All in all pretty good.  10.1% ABV, not tasted a sample yet.

Time to share this beauty.  This is the pretty beer, the orange color is more than I assumed.  I thought much more bright yellow, I think my double decoction left more of a color affect that I intended.  Hockhurtz next year for sure.  But this was a great brew. Thanks for everyone's help

*edit - I am pleasantly surprised with the peppery clove and sweet stone fruits in the aroma.  This is complex but subtle.  Probably the most approachable Belgian ale that I have made. And head retention is awesome.
