What a wonderful collection. Thanks for posting. In the third picture, the monk on the right is holding a large brass vessel in his right hand. I was given one of those by my father in law, and here I always thought it was a font filler for holy water. Guess those monks knew how to repurpose stuff.

What is the contraption in his left hand?

I think it was used to slice the radishes (the white Bier Radishes in a few of the depictions).

Yes, you are correct.  The candle holder with scissors to trim the wicks.  Good eyes.
