Hello all!

Wanted to introduce myself, my name is Sammy and I'm damn glad to be here.

Was introduced to brewing in college, my fraternity brothers use to brew extract beers in the house late at night as to not get caught by pesky campus police.

Life then got in the way, met the Mrs. Moved 3 times and finally landed in western CT. I'm a teacher and coach by trade so most of my brewing is done in the summer and on breaks from school.

I've been all-grain brewing stove top in the winter outdoor burner the warmer seasons and get about 8-10 brews per year since 2013.

Eventually I want to go three vessel electric but that will have to wait a few more years until we buy a bigger house for the growing family.

It is a pleasure to be here and look forward to joining the discussions!

Cheers!

Welcome aboard--as a teacher, I think you'll find this forum to be one of the best beer educations around. (I'm a teacher too--English--and just north of you in Western Massachusetts.)
