Scaling to the next level
« on: February 27, 2017, 07:58:30 pm »
I've been home brewing for about six years, using an 8 gal brew kettle, 6.5 gal carboys, etc.  I've been getting a lot of encouragement that I should go bigger and I'm anticipating scaling to something in the 15 gal to 1 bbl system.

Obviously, it's a big jump and I've started looking at some of the equipment that's available:
  • Pilot Brewing system
  • Brew Magic by Sabco
  • Alpha Ruby
  • etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good equipment (or processes) for larger scale production?

Thanks

I will try to bring this back to life. I know that ss brewtech has a 1bbl brewhouse that will be shipping in the fall. Seems like a really nice system.

Bought my Sabco in 2010 and have never regretted it.
