Golden Promise Malt analysis
« on: May 06, 2017, 07:23:11 PM »
So I just bought a sack of Golden Promise and a sack of Crisp MO. The Crisp analysis sheet I have dealt with before, but entering the Golden Promise on into Beersmith, I have a couple questions:
    • What is my extract % and expected yield
    • What am I using for Protein content
    • What rating is that for DP? IOB and how to convert to °Lintner?
This sheet just does not look like the ones I have received from Weyermann, and Crisp in the past so I need your help. Thanks in advance for any insights.

edit to actually add the analysis sheet, sorry

GP is not already in BeerSmith? Have you looked at the add-ons?

It's there, just wanted to make sure my lot specs were up to date. I'm guessing no one can see this link, it comes up as error 404 for me.

So if the link doesn't work, the sheet lists:
Total nitrogen
Soluble nitrogen
Friability
Homogeneity
Diastatic power IOB "dry"
Dextrinising units dry
Fine coarse diff(easy to place this in specs)
The rest if the info is definitely not protein, extract, or yield, so I'm kinda lost

To the right of all this, there are also columns for min and Max, but I guess I just will leave the default settings in beersmith

I do have that add-on already, just wanted to make sure that my sack came from a lot that was pretty close to the specs pre-installed.
