From the box on this mix pack a buyer can deduce there is a extra pale ale, a pineapple IPA, a session IPA, and something else. Why no style on the Cool Breeze?

After opening the box I know why.

Because it's a cucumber saison. Yuck!

   The next time I find a 4 way mixer that doesn't include at least one total dog the brewer is trying to clear from their inventory, I'll be more than a little bit surprised.

The last time I bought a mixer like that from Sweetwater, it was their 420 pale ale, IPA, Belgian of some sort, and a hop hash IPA. All were excellent.

And normal beers.

If the Saison didn't have Cucumber I would agree with you. It's drinkable, but, not my thing.

I had the 420 on a plane (Yay Alaska Airlines), and I'm sure some of it was the "I just killed 4 hours in an airport someone please lord give me a beer" but it was pretty damn good. 

I've noticed a similar thing where people just reuse the same box... so it will list on the side IPA, Brown Ale, Pale Ale, SEASONAL... well what's the seasonal? Widmer used to stamp the name on the top of the box but sometimes you can't read it.  Bridgeport at least cut a hole in the side of the box so you could see the bottle label, but I didn't notice that until I already had the box home, ironically enough.

I did a quick search.  According to the googles, Cool Breeze is a Cucumber Saison.   

Not sure I'd be very interested in that one.  To each their own though.

Yeah, that's my vote for the all time variety pack turd. No real fruit (just cranberry flavoring) and no actual lambic fermentation or character. Mmmmm.

Sam Adams was too honest on their most recent mix pack. I didn't buy it because I saw what was in it.
