How does brown rice syrup effect the color of beer, like if used in a pilsner?

It darkens with age sometimes. The fresh stuff is pretty light, but the older stuff can get pretty colorful.

Good to know. I'm planning on doing an imperial pilsner, all extract, to showcase and use up some of my home grown sterlings. I am going to add some kind of sugar and thought brown rice syrup might be a possibility.
