WLP090 San Diego Super Yeast

This yeast is plain dynamite for APA/IPAs.  Never taken more than 3-4 days for me to reach FG.  I swear by this yeast!

If you're into bitters at all, try 007 - it's supposedly a close relative of 090.

I didn't know that but I do see 007 pop up quite a bit in IPA recipes so that makes some sense.  I haven't tried 007 yet myself.

Do you still get decent british esters with this yeast and if so, what temp(s) do you ferment at?

I pitch 007 at 65, let rise to 67, hold for about 3 days, let rise to ambient. I'm usually finished in 5-6 days. IMO it is very British w more attenuation. It is my go to all around yeast. Love in IPA to RIS.
