Guinness Porter
« on: May 11, 2017, 09:53:37 pm »
For the benefit of those of you here who do not read it regularly, Ron Pattinson on his blog Shut Up About Barclay Perkins has posted this most interesting video from the early 1970s on how to pour a porter.

I love the quote "If work is the curse of the drinking classes, then Porter was their salvation." We need that guy at one of our club meetings critiquing our beers. He does it in such a elegant, polished, and graceful manner.

Thanks for sharing, I was off last week and missed my daily blog readings.

Interesting that it's all gravity taps.
Corn is a fine adjunct in beer.

And don't buy stale beer.

Wow, that was cool.  Is it true that that drink is gone away?  If so...what a shame.
Many of us would be on a strict liquid diet if it weren't for pretzels.
