Love our pie irons

I've been wanting to try legit fermented dough. Nothing wrong with white bread, just looking for a change.

I didn't know this was a thing. So they are basically sealed up grilled cheese with pizza ingredients?

Yep. Cooked in/on a fire. We use them when camping.

I love my pie iron!  I never used it for pizza yet. That will have to be next.  I was using it inside on our stove to make lots of things for me and my daughter this winter. Grilled ham and cheese, toasted pbj, nutella and bananas.  I swear to god my wife hid it on me because I cant find it.  It will “reappear” the next time we go camping.
