How long can I wait to bottle after priming?
« on: June 19, 2017, 04:06:14 pm »
My auto-siphon malfunctioned half way through racking from carboy to bottling bucket.  My pumping while trying to get it working again stirred up the trub.  Can I wait a day or two for it to settle so I can rack off the rest or does what I have primed in the bottling bucket have to be bottled immediately?  Thanks.

In a day or 2 the sugar will likely have fermented out and you'll need to reprime.
