Aluminium Sanke Keg
« on: June 21, 2017, 03:42:59 pm »
I just received a good condition sanke keg from Cuahtemoc Moctezuma, the outside looks like aluminium but i'm not sure on the inside it's S.S. I see no problem using this as a keggle but what about as fermentation vessel?, if this keg is used for beer i see no problem using it for fermenting wort in aluminium. Any opinion?

It's stainless. It would need to be thicker to be as ridged if it were aluminum.
