This brew is amazing.  I would love nothing more than perfecting this brew. 5.8% and truly one of the most refreshing festbiers I have had.

I managed to find some fresh examples of this beer back in September. Man it didn't at all drink like a 5.8% beer...

It's still on shelves around here, but is pretty stale. Sadly some of those bottles will disappear, only to come back out next year...
Corn is a fine adjunct in beer.

And don't buy stale beer.

I bought a bottle at TJs last year (or maybe the year before), and it had the strongest off flavor and scent of any beer I have ever tasted. 

Not sure what happened to that one...

I was lucky enough to have that on draft here in Oregon at the Mt Angel Oktoberfest and it was amazing.  All the German beers they bring in are super fresh and everything was great.
