um, fred, they do make bigger coolers  ;)
That would only get me pressing the limit again,
let me see, an 80 qt cooler could hold a whole sack of grain, hmmmmmm
hell of a 5 gallon batch
No reason you can't use 2 mashtuns!  ;)
I've made 14 gallons of Old Ale with a bag of grain in 2 mashtuns.  :)
And I've done a "doble-doble" mash with 42# for 6 gallons of 1.134 Samiclaus clone.  ;D

This would make for a nice Barleywine parti-gyle style with an IPA to follow.  8)

I brewed today for the first time in 6 months.  (Ugly story that I don't wanna extrapolate on right now.)  When it came time to sparge, I considered batch sparging, but I didn't quite have the motivation to look up how to do it and think about what will change with my set up, so I pulled out my sparge arm and let'er spin.  An hour later I put the pot on the stove and went out for sushi.

I'm gonna batch sparge my next batch in a couple of weeks to give it a try.
There once was a man from France, but he tasted a few Oregon brews and now he's from Portland.

There's a high tech tool for that ;D (heck, I use one on my 70 qt. cooler)....

I have to sneak in some bacon once or twice a year.  Not only would my cardiologist kill me, but ever since my wife saw "Babe", there's been no bacon on the house!  ;)
