Wanted: 4 pass cold plate
« on: January 06, 2010, 08:46:42 am »
I'm looking for a 4 pass cold plate to put together a jockey box for myself and the homebrew club.

If anyone has one they'd like to get rid of, please send me a message.

Thanks!
Patrick

Patrick,

You might want to check to see if you have any local tavern supply houses. They sometimes will have retired jockey boxes that they'll part out. Other thing is to watch Craigslist for a bar repo/demolition.

I bought a 5 circuit cold plate on E-Bay about a year ago for somewhere around $50.  One of the guys in our home-brew club owns his own wood working company and built a cabinet to house the cooler.  It looks amazing, I'll post some pictures when I get home.  It definitely made out X-mas party a lot more fun.  Can't wait to use it in the coming year!

Hey Patrick I might have something this cold plate has 2 in and 2 outlet fittings on it  dimensions 10x15x1 if this is what you are looking for I will take a picture of it and post it. Then we can talk price and shipping.
  Thanks Dave

Thanks for the help, but I've already gotten one.  Ended up buying one new through the local homebrew shop at close to cost.  The owner was building one too, and he doesn't stock the item, so he cut me a deal.

I'm not certain where he got it from, and I doubt he'd let me know who his supplier is.
There aren't any distinguishing marks on the plate to know where it was made, either.

Sorry, but I can't be much help.
