Checking In
« on: November 02, 2017, 10:14:47 pm »
Greetings folks!

I've been having a busy but fun summer/fall. Learned a new fun skill. But now it's getting to be brewing season for me. Soon I will be spending a day getting all my gear cleaned and ready. Looking forward to chilly evenings in the brewery listening to pod casts.

Hi Jim!  Any chance you'll make it to the conference in Portland in June?

Was the new skill fishing or river running? That is a nice salmon (don’t know which type). Great to see you back!

I haven’t done a big river trip since 2000. Now I am trying to talk the wife into another.

Hey, HBC will be in Portland! Almost seems like I would have to go. I should have my turn at vacation bidding pretty soon.

Yes, I bought a drift boat and learned the Klickitat. I absolutely love it. Wished I'd done this year's ago.

The fish is a salmonid... Actually a steelhead.

How much are tickets usually?

Last year it was $275 for the full conference and $225 for the social package (basically the conference minus the educational sessions).

It's a blast.
