Hi everyone,
Mead Day is held the first Saturday in August which is August 6th this year.
Thanks for participating in Mead Day this year! The registration is being done on the AHA Forum this year and separate state child boards have been set up for you. You must be registered with the AHA Forum in order to register your site. If you have registered on the AHA website HomebrewersAssociation.org, that registration will also work for the AHA Forum. If you have not yet registered, please follow the instructions here:
http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/forum/index.php?topic=3025.0To register your Mead Day site, open the board for the state in which you will host the event. Start a New Topic with your CITY listed first in the subject line. This will enable people to quickly locate event sites in their area. For example, if I register a site for my club in Boulder, CO it would be under the CO board and the subject line would be "BOULDER - Hop Barley & the Alers Mead & BBQ."
In the body of the message, include the Who, What, Where, When, and How information about your site. You can leave an e-mail or ask for people to respond to your message if they are interested in joining your Mead Day site. You might want to include information about the mead style you are making, whether people need to bring anything, or just show up, etc. You can include a map link for directions, photos, or whatever you like.
Then on August 6, 2011 join with homebrewers around the world in spreading the joy of making mead!
