Can I buy powdered lactose at a grocery store?
« on: January 19, 2018, 05:56:56 pm »
Brewing a milk stout tomorrow and just realized that the kit didn't come with any lactose. There is a homebrew shop about 45 minutes from me but if there's a chance I can find it locally at a grocery store id like to skip the drive. Has anyone ever seen it in a place like Wal-Mart or Martin's grocery?

I've seen it at a couple natural/health food stores I sometimes raid for brewing supplies.
