Avangard Pale Ale malt?
« on: January 20, 2018, 07:14:51 am »
Gang:  I have used Avangard Pils and I believe I have had small amounts of their Vienna and Munich as well.  I find myself short on base malt for ales and I see that Label Peelers has Avangard Pale Ale malt for $41 for a 55-lb sack.  Anyone care to share their experience with it?  Their other stuff seems solid to me.  Cheers & thanks.

A day without beer is like... just kidding, I have no idea.

I've used it quite a bit across several styles. I don't like it as much as Weyermann or Castle but better than domestic pale.

the Avengarde stuff is very comparable to Wyermann. I do think Wyermann and Best are better but the Avengarde is quite good.
