Capetown running out of water

Pretty hard to imagine not having water for such a large city. A very stark contrast to the Midwest.

The dry date deadline is early April but with conservation efforts no one knows that exact  date. I send about 30 people a year on holiday there including 2 people this month. The hotels in Cape Town are allowing more water then the 13 liters per person per day that the residents are allowed per day.  With 5 gallon batches you can short your shower for the day for at least 2 people and brew a great batch but use recycled water for cleaning equipment. If one person forgo the shower for several days.  Cape Town and great beer make a great pair.

Cheers!
