Broke my hydrometer

Hello all, i have a bgsa that has been in primary for 17 days (pitched 60F ramped to 80 over 10 days), i was planning on taking a gravity sample today but had i dropped my hydrometer, i suspect that it is finished, should i wait until i get a new hydrometer before cold crashing this beer?

In my opinion, when bottle conditioning, two things are important.  It's totally done. And what was the highest temp after totally done.
