It will be my second one.  This year I'm only doing the social.  I had to carve out some time for relatives.
Some day we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny

Once a year we get to meet our friends from previous conferences. We have friends across the nation now.

Did BN have a party last year and are they having one this year?

Don't think so, and no they aren't.  Looks like there will an Experimental Brewing party, though.  Details to come.

I think the BN had a meetup somewhere last year and there may possibly be something on Saturday this year.  I haven't listened to the Session in a while but this is what I'm hearing from some other BN people.

I just hope the knockout party is a little better than last year.  But it was the first one so I'm willing to give it a pass.

What was it that you didn't care for?
as a medal winner, was it really important that I stand outside for a half hour before I could come in?  Eventually I just wandered over and came in anyway.

This isn't a "knock" on it so much as an observation - the conference is over early enough at this point that I may just drive up to see family in Olympia Saturday afternoon rather than stay an extra night in my $233+tax/night hotel room.  Hmm...
