Homebrew Con 2019 Call for Seminar Proposals
« on: October 31, 2018, 12:18:54 pm »
Hello homebrewers!

Homebrew Con 2019 will take place in Providence, RI, June 27 - 29.

The AHA is now accepting proposals for educational seminars. These seminars are presented throughout the 3 days of the conference, and typically last about 60 minutes. We welcome any topic that is focused on homebrewing, or beer culture. To find out more about presenting at Homebrew Con, please read the submission guidelines, and submit your topic by following the link below:

Anyone with questions about presenting is welcome to contact me. I am happy to help!

Cheers!
Matt

Another aspect is that if YOU have an idea for a presentation but don't want to present, you can also suggest it to your Governing Committee members and we might be able to find someone else to research and present.

Since this is the first conference in the far northeast, some of you might have some ideas for locally-focused subjects that could be interesting to conference attendees. Don't be afraid of throwing your thoughts into the ring!

It would mean I could skip the seminars and concentrate on other things!

This is a great point. Thanks, Martin!

If anyone has an idea for a topic that they definitely want to see - but you don't know of a speaker to present it, I would encourage you to email the AHA Governing Committee with your idea: ahagc@brewersassociation.org

They'll be happy to help take your idea, and turn it into a full proposal. Thanks, all!
