Possible error on recent post...
« on: May 15, 2018, 09:02:05 am »
I was trying to post a response to this ongoing thread:

https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/forum/index.php?topic=31502.msg411457#new

and it seems it was locked.

Just curious if this was deliberate or a mistake.

I guess if it's still locked it must not have been erroneous.

That's a real shame. It was turning into a very interesting thread.

After I talk to whoever locked it, it might be reopened.

I was going to add this to the locked post:  I plan to add a gram of BtB, dissolved in a bit of wort, to the boil a minute before adding the copper chiller to sanitize it (i.e., at 16 minutes; chiller in at 15 minutes).  Would that do it?

I'll bet there was a naughty post that got deleted and led to locking.  Call me crazy but I'd kind of wondered if something like that might happen.  It wasn't me (this time), I kept my mouth shut and will shut up even more, effective riiiight.... now.

If this subject matter was susceptible to taking a "naughty" turn, my imagination must be sorely lacking.  I turned up some further very interesting material, and wonder if it's worth taking this back up in a new topic, or if, for some reason which escapes me, it is doomed.

I think Denny was taking a look at it. Something definitely prompted it but I didn’t see anything. I’m sure they will square it away.

I blame my cat for everything I can.  She has no clue so doesn't complain. :)
